Google revamped News and Weather app in Google Play
There are many Apps comes bundled with new Android phone in which most of them developed by Google itself. Google's news app and Weather app which is bundled with almost every Android phone is now revamped by the Google. Since there is no any change introduced by Google to these Apps, they are same from Android Gingerbread version. But now Google is going to revamp these Apps with new UI and with better performance.
The whole Application interface is changed in order to bring it in-line with all other Google properties. For quick and easy access of various news section the app is now includes the slide-out navigation tweak. It gives a new tab to easily switch between Google accounts. The navigation panel also contains add and remove news section option along with help and feedback option also. Also there is a secondary menu panel available on the top-right corner of the application which has option to manually refresh the news content, change Google News edition and manage News sections.
The main screen now have weather forecast for location you ave configured as well as top news stories. To access the different News sections you have to just swipe left. The weather forecast is now come with more details than the previous version of application, it shows the extended forecast on tapping the particular day. It generates graphical representation of the weather forecast.
Two new widgets are introduced in the newer version which are 4x1 and 2x3 widgets. Widgets having very pleasant graphic interface. To set it on home screen you have to tap and hold on home screen to appear a menu then select the widget you want to set on your home screen. Google also launched Google Now for touch-less search.
