Jolla SmartPhone is launched in India with Android App support at INR 16,490

Jolla SmartPhone by Ex-Nokia Engineer is launched in India with Android App support. The Jolla phone is launched in India in partnership with e-commerce website Snapdeal.com. The Finnish Smartphone maker is launched Jolla Smartphone on Snapdeal at INR 14,490.




Jolla Phone is running on its own developed OS platform SailFish OS. The device also support Android App which user can installed via Third-party App stores. Sailfish OS claims that it cannot track the users and hence its very privacy oriented. As OS and phone is developed by Ex-Nokia Engineers, so its based on Nokia's old MeeGo OS. The phone shows the qualities that it is developed by the Nokia engineers. Sailfish OS is gesture based OS which makes you hang with it. You can customize according to your own need as it is open source project.

The Jolla company claims that it will compete with other Smartphone makers on the basis of user-experience on the phone rather than specs. The device is operated smoothly and having good build quality. The Jolla phone is Live Multitasking feature which give you a new experience of multitasking. It is the only Smartphone which shows all running apps on one screen. Sailfish OS is having in-built feature to support for Android Apps, which opens the door to access millions of apps.

Jolla Smartphone is having Ample 4.5 inch IPS qHD display. The screen is having 5-point multi-touch with Gorilla 2 glass. The device is having a 8-megapixel primary camera and 2-megapixel front -facing secondary camera. Its having 16GB internal memory with a micro-SD slot. For smooth performance it is having 1GB RAM support.
